ever since,...
my early childhood
it had been my wildest dream
to one day visit
New York City USA.
Home of Broadway
'New York, New York,
it's a helluva town !',
sang the sailors from
Bernstein's 'On the Town'.
........And they're right !

So what happened ..?.?..!
the story so far ..

I am a 30 year old Australian living
with Multiple Sclerosis.
I was diagnosed with MS at the age of 24yrs.
|
I am not in a wheel chair yet!
My Medication, Beta interferon 1b,
has kept me out of the wheel chair so far...
.... God permitting ...... It's like gold ..!!!

When I was diagnosed with MS in 1994, at the prime of my young adulthood,
I was totally devastated. Would I ever be able to fulfill my dreams?
Would I get a chance to? What was my future living with Multiple Sclerosis?
 My medication ......
After a traumatic onset of Multiple Sclerosis, I was later prescribed Beta Interferon
medication/treatment for MS by my neurologist. Beta Interferon has allowed me to
achieve the things I dreamed would not be possible. Beta interferon 1b has given me a little time.
Unfortunately Beta interferon 1b, is not a cure for MS.

On the 10th May 2000 that was all to change,
My dream "once in a life time opportunity",
was to become a reality.
as a reward and ..........
celebration of my remission ....
...... it was possible for me to plan a
"Once in MY life time"
6 day vacation to
New York City USA.
